What grabs our attention about this ketch rigged cat are the splayed twin-headstay furlers on each mast and interesting crossbeam arrangements. Something that James Wharram could have dreamed up? Plastiki might not be a beauty - but hats off to a gutsy statement !check out the video of Plastiki
Our Aeroyacht sponsored Austrian tri is out of the OSTAR! Bummer. Reini Gelder was leading the entire fleet of racers across the Atlantic as his port spreader on the mast suddenly gave way. He has returned to the UK to undertake repairs. A triumph of will and courage nevertheless. Hats off to Reini who dared to face the North Atlantic singlehanded in his 40' tri.
